The Krauthaker vineyards lie on the 45.3rd parallel north, the same one on which some of the world’s most famous wine regions are located, such as Istria, Piedmont, the Rhône Valley, Bordeaux, and Oregon. This geographical position provides a balance between sunny days and cooler nights, which is crucial for preserving the grapes’ aromatics and freshness.

Graševina Mitrovac
Crystal-clear in appearance, with a lovely straw-yellow color. With a moderately intense aroma reminiscent of ripe apple, vineyard peach, and a hint of light wildflowers. On the nose, quite fruity with certain floral notes. On the palate, warm, well-rounded, harmonious, with good body. The taste is lively, with good freshness and a pleasant minerality on the finish.
Terroir
The sandy soil at higher elevations, low in humus and formed on sedimentary rock, provides the grapes with an ideal warm foundation throughout the growing season in July, August, and September. The soil is often rocky and clay-rich, which, combined with below-average rainfall, demands both experience and extensive knowledge.
